CPR Classes

Compression-Only CPR (Non-certification)

When someone sees a person suddenly drop and realize they aren't breathing many people don't know what to do.

In a Compression-Only CPR class you learn the steps to take to help a person who has experienced a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).  There are 4 easy steps that anyone can do!  This class takes approximately 1 - 1.5 hours and will give the student the confidence to perform potentially life-saving skills.

This class is taught in a classroom-only setting and is a NON-CERTIFICATION class but a letter of class completion can be issued for anyone who needs proof of class participation.

Heartsaver / Non-Professional Rescuer CPR (2-year certification)

Heart Saver / Non-Professional Rescuer CPR teaches the techniques of compression, rescue breathing and using an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).

Heart Saver / Non-Professional Rescuer CPR can be taught in two formats:

  1. Traditional classroom:  Consisting of all modules & skills testing.  This class is approximately 4 - 4.5 hours in length.
  2. Blended learning: where the lecture potion of a traditional class can be completed online and arrangements made with a qualified instructor to complete the skills portion of the course.  After successful completion of the skills test, the student will then receive their CPR card.  This class takes approximately 3 hours to complete the online portion and approximate 1 - 1.5 hours for the skills testing.  Copy of successful completion of the online portion of the course MUST be presented before the student can take the skills test.  Students will be given time to practice their skills before the actual skills test.

An electronic course completion card will be issued after successfully completing skills test.

Class Pricing

Prices for classes for CPR training varies depending on the curriculum being taught and the format used.

American Heart Association courses are slightly more costly than courses taught using American Red Cross curriculum but curriculum from BOTH sources meet the same standards set by The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) which was formed in 1992 to provide a forum for liaison between principal resuscitation organizations worldwide.  Curriculum used by the American Red Cross and the AHA are OSHA approved!

BLS - Professional Rescuer CPR

About Professional Rescuer CPR

Many professions require those who work in healthcare or as an emergency responder to have professional level CPR training.  EMT's, paramedics, firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, dentists and others must maintain this level of CPR certification.

AZ Safety Solutions offers Professional CPR training using curriculum from either the American Red Cross (ARC) or the American Heart Association (AHA).  There is no difference in the curriculum as both are nationally accepted and use curriculum approved by the International  Liaison Committee on Resuscitation(ILCOR).

AZ Safety Solutions now teaches the American Red Cross 2019 curriculum for BLS Professional Rescuer CPR.

American Red Cross & American Heart Association BLS Professional Rescuer CPR (Classroom):

American Red Cross & American Heart Association BLS Professional Rescuer CPR (Blended Learning):
