Senior Safety Insights

As we age, our bodies and the world we navigate daily, change sometimes making life more difficult to enjoy safely.  Things like the medications we take, chores that we need to do, hobbies we enjoy, and many more things that are considered as part of our "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs).
In this section we will provide you with some information and tools to help guide you and make your life easier and safer!! to help us keep track of the medications we take and to address any mobility, as well as other issues wehve as we age .

Not only can it keep you on track with how your Doctor prescribed them to you, but also for what reason.  Many people take medications prescribed by their Healthcare Provider but they have NO idea as to why they are taking them.

It is suggested that you use a pencil to fill out the record which will make it easier to make changes keeping the record up-to-date.  Also, make sure you put the date on the front of the record EVERYTIME you make any changes to your record!!   Use adaptive equipment in the home to make daily tasks easier and safer.  Overall, senior adult safety is an important consideration for individuals as they age. By taking simple precautions and being aware of potential hazards, older adults can help prevent accidents and injuries, and continue to enjoy a safe and active lifestyle.
